Papers of Edward Rowland Sill, 1860-1887.

The collection contains two photographs and an ambrotype of Edward Rowland Sill, a poem "The Dawn," a printed poem "To My Correspondent who writes of the Weather, " two partial manuscripts and a resumeĢ of Sill's life. Three letters to Elizabeth Stuart Phelps Ward comment on "The Wind of Destiny" by Arthur S. Hardy and on a book by Ward, possibly "The Madonna of the Tubs." Sill also describes his health and a trip to New York with his wife, Elizabeth Newberry Sill.
